3 February 2021, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between the agri-tech company iFarmer and re-commerce platform SWAP. In this ceremony, iFarmer CEO Fahad Ifaz, COO Jamil M Akbar, and Managing Director and CEO Md. Parvez Hossain from SWAP and Director of SWAP Tanmoy Saha were present. This long-term business collaboration between iFarmer & SWAP will be applicable for major cities like Dhaka, Khulna, Chottogram, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Bogra, and Brahmanbaria. The target of this collaboration is to build an end-to-end circular economy and turning e-waste to green Bangladesh along with creating economic stability for farmers. iFarmer & SWAP’s collaboration will help the users to invest in iFarmer's farms in exchange for their unwanted or unused items and get profitable returns over time
